2017 ACI Fall Meeting

Recap:

Attendees received valuable updates and information about trends taking place in the cleaning product industry, while offering them the opportunity to network and catch up with their fellow industry colleagues. 

Standing Committees
The 2017 Fall Meeting was held over three days, providing Members with insightful information about ACI’s ongoing work related to Consumer Affairs and Outreach & Communication; Convention; Government Affairs; International; Legal; Oleochemical; Research, Technology and Regulation; Strategic Advisory as well as Sustainability Committee matters. Attendees were also advised key federal and legislative issues that are pending and how they could possibly impact their company’s specific areas of outreach.

Speaker Sessions
The Fall Meeting provided the attendees with the opportunity to hear what Madeline Vey, the Legislative Counsel for Rep. Bob Latta (OH-05-R) had to say about the legislative matters that Rep. Latta is currently working on.

State of the Association
In this new speaker session, ACI’s President and CEO, Melissa Hockstad provided attendees with an overview ACI’s chemical management, outreach and sustainability initiatives. Ms. Hockstad also gave an update on the Future Leaders Forum which will debut during the 2018 ACI Annual Meeting and Convention. Additionally, Ms. Hockstad reviewed the ongoing prioritization process that is being implemented as well as other matters. Attendees were asked to provide any feedback, questions or concerns they had to her.
